RSS for the Really Slow and Stupid

April 26th 2006 14:47
RIGHT.

I am getting technologically SOR'ED (ala The Streets - dig that cockney obnoxion). GET AMONGST IT!

If you blog, read blogs, or get bored easily, here's the uber-idiot's guide to RSS.
exp
RSS = compiles all your fave blogs into a handy menu so you can see what's been updated without having to trawl for new entries. Who cares what the acronym stands for. If you really can't contain your curiosity, kill yourself or ask Cibby.

Easiest way, Cibby tells me, is to download Mozilla Firefox (a simple browser) and the RSS extension, known as Sage.

Just download it.

No, really. Do it. It's so ridiculously easy I can do it. There's no thinking involved. Then again, the vast amount of my clicking is sans thinking...

Play smarter. Be saner. Be connecteder. Be technologicaler.
Always...
What Moroccan nerds drink... (ARABIC COKE!!!!)

And by the way, all good nerds should drink coffee. Or at the very least Coke, but I already hate myself for the product placement. Mr Cola, you know where to find me - I'll scratch your back....?

Hey, not so hard!!

Your explanation is the 'more technologicaler' way to do it. Download Firefox. Download Sage. Yes!

God, I could really go for some Arabic Coke... a cup for a cup.

Thank you Amy! *attempts, computer sputters and indicates its willingness to die if ordered to try these new tricks*

But I keep coming back to your blog for updates, RSS or not. And I need to know! When you have 4 essay due in two days, and there is NO COFFEE in the house, where can you run for a quick fix!

Depends where you live Lia as to what will be a 'quick fix'!!!

In a purely survival sense, however, your best use of time is to run to the supermarket and GET YOURSELF SOME COFFEE. Actually you've just given me an idea for a post... Staying Awake Emergencies - First Aid through to Last Resort =)

If I were you (not that I'm giving you any ideas) I'd be running off a cliff. I have two assignments due in four days and that is too much for me. *sniff* substandard uni student!

*calculates distance to supermarket* Actually, I had to resort to liquorice tea! Now that gives a weird buzz.

Hmm.. does caffeine deprivation count as misadventure when submitting essays? Someone needs to see to that.. Not me though, too busy finding nice cliffs.

But I'm looking forward to your new post
